The Nickel Christmas Market is proudly presented by Kungwini Welfare Organisation as an annual fundraising project. Kungwini Welfare Organisation is the umbrella for Paul Jungnickel Home and Medical Care for disabled adults. The Protective Workshop and Activities Workshop for disabled residents and day visitors, Social Work Services to the Pretoria-East community, Kungwini Early Childhood Development Centre, Tshwenyega Clinic and Second Chances Donation Shop. The Nickel Christmas Market endeavours to supplement the shortfall of operational costs of Kungwini Welfare Organisation not subsidised by the government. The first Nickel Christmas Market was hosted in 2000 and aims to promote products made by our disabled residents and provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products. The Nickel Christmas Market represents the essence of Kungwini Welfare Organisation.

The Nickel Christmas Market offers something for everyone's Christmas stocking. Live entertainment over weekends, Free Entry, and Free Parking. The market is not to be missed with over 20 000 visitors in 12 days.

This was one of the best Christmas markets I've ever been to. Well organized with loads of different tables and wide variety of goods. A real one stop Christmas present shopping experience. There were lots of tellers,so no wait to pay. Best of all was the ice cold drink and food after shopping

Ek dink sommer nou aan julle en will net vir julle baie dankie se vir die baie lekker Nickel Mark en julle georganiseerdheid. Iets wat my baie gehelp het is dat mens die hele tyd kan sien op die sisteem kan sien hoe gaan dit en wat is die produkte wat actually verkoop. Dit is die heeltyd 'n live view en dit voel vir my dit is waarheen die markte moet beweeg sodat uitstallers die hele tyd kan incheck en weet, stuur die stuur daai. Ons het die hele tyd geweet ons moet ons tafels vol hou en het julle ons die hele tyd laat weet hoe lyk ons tafels. Dit maak 'n groot verskil aan hoe die mark se gevoel is, kliente kyk na die mark en kan sien dit is 'n goed gestockte mark met genoeg produkte en dit lyk altyd baie goed.
